Sharing is NOT Caring

Jr Brown

I’m not sure whether the biblical concept of emulating little children is well thought through.

Sure, the ideology is to be quick to forget, keep no record of wrong and smile even in the face of adversity. But anyone who is well acquainted with the little ones knows there’s more to what meets the eye.

Jaston has always loved his car. He has a handful of toys, but like any boy, the machine is his favorite. The thing is, he no longer has use for it — doesn’t play with it anymore, doesn’t care for it, doesn’t even look at it.

This was until recently when Junior, the brother, came into the picture, and found favor with the same car.

As the youngest and newest progeny, Junior is entitled to everything, even those that belong to Jaston.

But boy is he wrong if he thinks Jaston will let him play with his car. Abandoned it may be, but it is his. And sharing is not a concept the innocent one is yet familiar with.
